and coatings

Surface treatments and coatings are of fundamental importance tribologically.
SCARPA & COLOMBO valves are surface-treated and/or coated to ensure the life and/or performance required by the customer.

Examples of surface treatments and coatings applied by SCARPA & COLOMBO are: nitriding, chrome plating, PVD coatings, flame-sprayed molybdenum.

Further special treatments and coatings can be adopted as required by the customer.
