SCARPA & COLOMBO have been producing valves for many years for the SUPERBIKE, SPEEDWAY, MOTOCROSS and OFFSHORE motorsport market and is able to offer the customer a wide range of customisations (valve geometry, heat treatment, surface coatings).
Over 90 years’ experience in the world of production of prime equipment (OE market) and aftermarket is a difficult record to match. Flexibility of production, “Just in Time” logistics and the capacity to assist the customer in design enable SCARPA & COLOMBO to sell all over the world.
Since 1923, SCARPA & COLOMBO have been producing a wide range of motor valves both for automotive/motorbike applications and for industrial motors. SCARPA & COLOMBO possess all the modern technologies for the production of valves in steel, superalloys and titanium; for “special” applications requiring lightness and high-temperature resistance we produce hollow valves filled with metallic sodium. We provide our customers with the heat treatment and surface coatings suitable for the application, enabling also reductions in cost.
Over the long years of our activity, in full compliance with approved processes, we have developed the means to provide a highly customised product, designed case by case according to the specific needs of the customer.
Scarpa & Colombo offer the customer a detailed Failure Analysis service in order to study and resolve cases of damage to valves and/or the valve train. Detailed interaction between our technicians and the customer enables us to formulate proposals for solving problems. With a view to continuous improvement we provide the necessary consultancy to achieve the standards of quality required by the design (duration, mass etc.).
Through an attentive value analysis during the design stage, we provide the customer with the assistance necessary to obtain the highest performance from the valve at the lowest cost.
